Islay Whisky is a snus produced in Jämtland in Sweden. There, the company imports rich flavoured tobacco from Nicaragua, South Africa and more. The tobacco are then slowly perspired in a heated room. This is done by old traditions, instead of pasteurization, which is the most common approach today. The reason this is done is way is because it increases the quality of the snus and gives the finished products a much more smoother and cleaner tobacco character. After that the snus is flavoured with single malt whisky.
